- 2 cups frozen tater tots
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and remove from heat.
- In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spread the cooked ground beef evenly across the bottom.
- Pour the pizza sauce over the ground beef, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese over the tater tots.
- Top with sliced pepperoni.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
