A delicious and easy recipe for Miso-Glazed Salmon that is packed with flavor and perfect for a healthy meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons white miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mirin (sweet rice wine)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, honey, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic until smooth.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the miso glaze generously over the top of each fillet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a teaspoon of sriracha to the glaze.
  • You can also substitute the salmon with other fish like cod or trout for a different flavor profile.
