- Layer the dried culinary lavender and robust black tea leaves in the prepared pitcher.
- Heat 4 cups of water to 195–205°F and pour it over the lavender and tea mixture. Cover immediately.
- Steep for 10 minutes, monitoring the time to avoid bitterness.
- Remove the infuser or tea bags without squeezing them. Stir in your preferred sweetener.
- Cool to room temperature (about 20 minutes) then refrigerate for at least 75 minutes.
