Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Generously spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Cut the brioche bread into bite-sized cubes and layer half of these cubes evenly in the baking dish.
  3. Dollop half of the cream cheese over the bread, followed by half of the sliced strawberries.
  4. Top with the remaining brioche cubes, followed by the rest of the cream cheese and strawberries.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and kosher salt until fully combined.
  6. Pour the custard mixture evenly over the layered bread and cover tightly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
  7. Remove from the refrigerator and let sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before baking.
  8. Bake covered with foil for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven, let sit for a few minutes before slicing, and serve warm with fresh strawberries and confectioners’ sugar.
