Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup pickles sliced
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Method

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, white vinegar, and sugar to create the special sauce.
  4. Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous tablespoon of the special sauce in the center.
  5. Add a portion of the cooked beef, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and pickles.
  6. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top.
  7. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
  8. For best results, serve immediately or wrap in foil and keep warm in a low oven (around 200°F) until ready to eat.
