Preparation Steps
- In a medium saucepan, heat 1 cup of whole milk over medium heat until you see small bubbles forming around the edges, about 5 minutes.
- Once the milk is bubbling, whisk in ½ cup of sugar and ¼ teaspoon of salt until fully dissolved, which should take about 2 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and add 1½ cups of heavy whipping cream, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 3 teaspoons of vanilla pudding mix, 1 teaspoon of raspberry extract, and 1 teaspoon of lemon extract. Stir the mixture until completely blended.
- Mix in ½ teaspoon of blue food coloring, stirring until the desired shade of vibrant blue is achieved.
- Transfer the mixture to a bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until completely chilled.
- After chilling, pour the cold mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Once churned, scoop your Blue Moon Ice Cream into bowls or waffle cones.

Notes
For best texture, ensure the mixture is completely chilled before churning. Adjust sweetness and tartness based on taste preference.
