Preparation Steps
  1. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Add half of the cubed French bread or brioche to the baking dish.
  3. Scatter half of the blueberries over the bread, followed by half of the cream cheese cubes.
  4. Add the remaining bread cubes, then top with the rest of the blueberries and cream cheese.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, whole milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  6. Pour the custard mixture over the layered ingredients, pressing down gently for saturation. Soak for 30 minutes or overnight.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake uncovered for another 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving, dust with powdered sugar if desired.
