- Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add your choice of pasta and cook according to package instructions for about 8-10 minutes, or until al dente. Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and rinse it under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- While the pasta cooks, grab a medium bowl and whisk together 1/4 cup of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar, 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard, and 1 minced garlic clove. Mix until well combined.
