- Boil salted water and cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions for about 10–12 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water until cooled.
- In a mason jar, mix teriyaki sauce, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Shake until combined and chill.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine baby spring mix, shredded carrots, dried cranberries, and pine nuts. Gently fold in drained mandarin oranges.
- Gradually mix in the cooled bowtie pasta, tossing carefully to combine without damaging the spring mix and oranges.
- Just before serving, sprinkle chow mein noodles on top and drizzle with teriyaki dressing to taste. Serve immediately or chill briefly.
