Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cut the beef into thin strips against the grain, season with salt and pepper, and dredge lightly in flour. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and mushrooms, sauté for 5-7 minutes until soft and golden.
  3. Push the mushroom and onion mixture to the sides of the skillet. Increase heat to high and add seasoned beef strips. Sear for 3-4 minutes until browned.
