Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably Italian-style
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten.
  3. In another shallow bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat with the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the coated chicken breasts in a single layer in the basket, making sure they are not touching.
  6. Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  7. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes
