- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes.
- Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread generously.
- Lay the unbuttered side of one slice down on a cutting board, layer with dill havarti cheese and dill pickles, then top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Place the sandwich in the preheated skillet and grill for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the sandwich and grill the second side for another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the sandwich from the skillet, let it cool for a minute, then slice in half and serve.
