Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound beef stew meat cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. In a crockpot, combine the beef stew meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or until the beef is tender.
  3. About 30 minutes before serving, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. Once the beef is tender, stir in the softened cream cheese until melted and well combined. Then, add the sour cream and mix until smooth.
  5. Serve the beef mixture over the cooked egg noodles and garnish with chopped parsley.
