- In a small bowl, combine softened unsalted butter, minced garlic, and freshly chopped parsley. Mix until smooth and well blended.
- Slice the Cuban bread lengthwise and brush the cut sides with the garlic butter mixture.
- Spread a layer of yellow mustard on the bottom half of each bread slice.
- Layer smoked ham, salami, or roasted pork on top of the mustard, followed by pickle slices and cheese.
- Place the top half of the bread over the fillings and press down gently.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat for about 3–4 minutes.
- Place the sandwiches in the skillet and grill for 3–4 minutes, pressing down gently.
- Flip the sandwiches carefully and grill for an additional 3–4 minutes.
- Remove from the skillet and let them rest for 1 minute before slicing and serving.
