Ingredients
  

Biscuit Base
  • 200 grams Tea Biscuits Substitute with Maria biscuits if preferred.
  • 100 grams Unsalted Butter Can use margarine for dairy-free option.
Filling
  • 200 grams Caramel Homemade caramel is best, store-bought is fine.
  • 100 grams Roasted Unsalted Peanuts Can swap with almond slices or cashews.
Chocolate Coating
  • 200 grams Milk Chocolate Dark chocolate can be used for a richer flavor.
  • 100 ml Heavy Cream Omitting it makes for a firmer finish.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, gently heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it’s steaming, about 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the broken milk chocolate pieces until smooth, about 2–3 minutes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, crush the tea biscuits into fine crumbs, then pour the cooled ganache over and mix thoroughly.
  4. Line a rectangular tray with parchment paper, press the biscuit mixture into the bottom evenly.
  5. Chop the roasted peanuts and mix them with the caramel until well coated.
  6. Spread the peanut-caramel mixture evenly over the biscuit base.
  7. Cover the tray and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  8. Remove from the fridge and cut into bars about 2 inches wide.
  9. Melt any remaining chocolate and dip each bar into the chocolate, then place on a wire rack.
