- In a large mixing bowl, beat together 1 cup of unsalted butter, 1 cup brown sugar, and 1 cup granulated sugar for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add 2 large eggs one at a time and then mix in 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour, 0.5 cups of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 0.5 teaspoon of salt.
