Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Fill a large pot with 4 quarts of water and bring to a rolling boil (about 5 minutes).
- Carefully add quartered potatoes to the boiling water and cook for 10 minutes until beginning to soften. Drain and set aside.
- Add halved corn on the cob to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Drain and set aside with the potatoes.
- In a large skillet, melt ½ cup of unsalted butter over medium heat. Add in minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in Cajun seasoning, Old Bay seasoning, smoked paprika, and sugar into the skillet. Cook for another 2 minutes, then squeeze lemon juice into the pan.
- In two large baking pans, arrange crab legs, shrimp, par-cooked corn, and potatoes. Drizzle the seasoned butter sauce over the arrangement.
- Cover each baking pan with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and switch to broil for an additional 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices before serving. Enjoy with your favorite crusty bread or a fresh salad.
