Ingredients
  

For the Sauce
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter Margarine can be used if needed.
  • 8 cloves Garlic, minced Garlic powder (1 tsp) can substitute if fresh is not available.
  • 1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 tbsp Hot Old Bay Seasoning Switch to regular Old Bay for less heat.
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika Regular paprika can also work well.
  • 1 tsp Sugar Omit for a more savory dish if desired.
  • 1 lemon Juice of Fresh lemons are ideal, bottled juice can work in a pinch.
For the Seafood and Veggies
  • 2 lbs Crab Legs Use frozen crab legs cooked directly from frozen.
  • ½ pound Shrimp Shell on or off; opt for fresh or thawed frozen shrimp.
  • 4 pcs Lobster Claws Optional; substitute with more shrimp for a satisfying alternative.
  • 4 pcs Red Potatoes, quartered Small white potatoes or Yukon golds are excellent replacements.
  • 2 pcs Corn on the Cob, halved Canned corn is a quick substitute if fresh isn’t available.
For Garnishing
  • Parsley Adds freshness and color; any fresh herb can substitute, or skip the garnish if needed.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Fill a large pot with 4 quarts of water and bring to a rolling boil (about 5 minutes).
  2. Carefully add quartered potatoes to the boiling water and cook for 10 minutes until beginning to soften. Drain and set aside.
  3. Add halved corn on the cob to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Drain and set aside with the potatoes.
  4. In a large skillet, melt ½ cup of unsalted butter over medium heat. Add in minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Stir in Cajun seasoning, Old Bay seasoning, smoked paprika, and sugar into the skillet. Cook for another 2 minutes, then squeeze lemon juice into the pan.
  6. In two large baking pans, arrange crab legs, shrimp, par-cooked corn, and potatoes. Drizzle the seasoned butter sauce over the arrangement.
  7. Cover each baking pan with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and switch to broil for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices before serving. Enjoy with your favorite crusty bread or a fresh salad.
