Method

Preparation
  1. Start by heating a skillet over medium heat and adding a splash of extra virgin olive oil. Once the oil shimmers, toss in the halved cherry tomatoes, allowing them to sauté for about 3–5 minutes. Stir occasionally until they burst and release their juices, seasoning lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. While the tomatoes are cooking, take your creamy burrata cheese and gently place it on a beautiful serving plate. If you prefer a more decadent presentation, carefully cut it open with a sharp knife, allowing the creamy interior to spread out slightly.
  3. Once the tomatoes have burst and are beautifully glazed in their juices, carefully spoon them over the burrata. Ensure the delightful juices cascade down the sides, enhancing both the flavor and visual appeal.
  4. Next, drizzle a generous amount of extra virgin olive oil over the top, inviting rich flavors to meld together. Sprinkle flake salt for an added crunch and depth of flavor.
  5. Prepare slices of a crusty baguette by toasting them until golden brown and crispy. Arrange the toasted baguette around the burrata on the serving platter.
