  • 1 large egg binds the ingredients together

  • 3/4 cup water or milk for a creamier flavor
For the Topping
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries chopped; blueberries can be an alternative
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar or powdered monk fruit for a low-calorie option
  • 2 tablespoons milk non-dairy options like almond or oat milk work well

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Allow about 10 to 15 minutes for the oven to reach temperature.
  2. Generously coat the donut pan with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, egg, vegetable oil, and water. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  4. Transfer the batter into a ziplock bag, cut off one corner, and pipe into the donut pan, filling each cavity halfway.
  5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. The donuts should spring back lightly when touched.
  6. Let the donuts cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
  7. Mix confectioners sugar with milk in a medium bowl until smooth. Adjust consistency as needed.
  8. Once cooled, drizzle icing over the donuts and garnish with sprinkles or additional strawberries.
