Preparation Steps
  1. Wash fresh blackberries thoroughly and blend until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Juice lemons to yield about 1 cup of lemon juice and mix with sugar until dissolved.
  3. Strain blended blackberry puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds and pulp.
  4. Combine strained blackberry juice with lemon-sugar mixture and add chilled water. Stir well.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or serve immediately over ice with garnishes.
