Preparation Steps
- Start by peeling 2 medium ripe bananas and slicing them in half lengthwise, then into quarters. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Spread a layer of natural, no-sugar-added peanut butter over each banana slice.
- Sprinkle chopped peanuts over the peanut butter and press gently. Add a pinch of sea salt on top.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 cup of dark chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate generously over each banana slice, covering peanut butter and peanuts fully.
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer and let the treats chill for at least 1 hour.
- Transfer the treats to an airtight container and store in the freezer for up to 2 months.
