Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by gently wiping the mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove dirt. Trim the stems if desired.
  2. In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbling, then add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  3. If marinating, drizzle the cleaned mushrooms with balsamic vinegar or soy sauce and let sit for 15-30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  5. Grill the mushrooms cap-side down for 4-5 minutes, turning when they release easily.
  6. Baste mushrooms with garlic butter in the last 2 minutes of grilling.
