Preparing Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers
- Soak the wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, dried Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Cut the boneless skinless chicken breasts into even cubes. Add the chicken to the marinade and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, about 400°F (200°C).
- Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the soaked skewers, leaving space between pieces.
- Place skewers on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from grill and let skewers rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
