Ingredients
  

For the Pasta
  • 8 oz Linguine or Spaghetti Any long pasta shape works.
For the Shrimp
  • 2 tbsp Butter Adds richness and flavor.
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Prevents butter from burning.
  • 1 lb Large, Peeled & Deveined Shrimp Use fresh or thawed.
For the Sauce
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh is preferred.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Can substitute with half-and-half.
  • ½ cup Chicken Broth Reserved pasta water can be used.
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated Freshly grated is best.
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • ¼ tsp Red Pepper Flakes, optional
  • Salt & Black Pepper To taste.
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method
 

Directions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil. Add shrimp in a single layer and sear for 1–2 minutes on each side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth, bringing to a simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened.
  4. Stir in Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Combine pasta and shrimp with the sauce, tossing to coat. Add reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
  6. Garnish with parsley and additional Parmesan. Serve hot.
