Marination and Cooking
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together ¼ cup of olive oil, the juice of one lemon, three cloves of minced garlic, two teaspoons of dried oregano, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Add one pound of chicken tenders, ensuring each piece is fully coated in the zesty marinade. Cover the bowl tightly and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for maximum flavor infusion.
- Prepare your grilling or baking station.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F) or set your oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Allow about 10-15 minutes for preheating.
- Once preheated, place the marinated chicken tenders on the grill grates or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Grill or bake for approximately 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- After cooking, remove the chicken tenders from the heat and let them rest for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
