For the Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be used for a healthier option.
  • 1/4 cup Sriracha or Hot Sauce Reduce for a milder flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Sweet Chili Sauce Use honey for a natural sweetener if preferred.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Can substitute with maple syrup.
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice Lemon juice is a good alternative.
For the Skewers
  • 8 pieces Wooden Skewers Soak in water for 20-30 minutes before grilling.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for 20-30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. Whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha, sweet chili sauce, honey, and lime juice in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Marinate cubed chicken in a large bowl with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and half of the Bang Bang sauce. Let it marinate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  4. Thread marinated chicken pieces onto pre-soaked skewers, leaving space between each piece.
  5. Preheat grill to high heat (400°F to 450°F) and brush grates with oil to prevent sticking.
  6. Cook skewers on the grill for 3-4 minutes per side until chicken reaches 165°F and has grill marks.
  7. Remove skewers from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes. Brush with reserved Bang Bang sauce before serving.
