Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 5-7 minutes and drain excess fat.

- Mix in shredded cheddar cheese until melted, then transfer to the prepared baking dish.

- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and milk until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough over the beef filling, spacing them out.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
- Brush the biscuits with melted butter and let the cobbler rest for 5 minutes before serving.
