  • 3 tbsp Oil Use extra virgin olive oil.
  • 1 oz Ranch Seasoning Hidden Valley recommended.
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder Fresh garlic can be used as alternative.
  • 1/4 tsp Salt Adjust to taste; garlic salt can be used.
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper Black pepper is standard.
For the Toppings
  • 2/3 cup Cheese Sharp cheddar is ideal.
  • 4 slices Bacon Crispy bacon chopped, turkey bacon can substitute.
  • 1 tbsp Parsley Chives or cilantro can be alternatives.
  • 2 tbsp Thinly Sliced Green Onions Regular onions can substitute, use less.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into uniform 1-inch chunks.
  2. In a bowl, combine oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to mix.
  3. Add potato chunks into the seasoning mixture and toss to coat.
  4. Preheat grill to 400°F for even cooking.
  5. Transfer seasoned potatoes onto a sheet of foil and seal tightly to create a packet.
  6. Place the sealed packet on the grill and cook for 10 minutes, flip and grill for another 10 minutes.
  7. Carefully open the packet and layer cheese, bacon, and parsley on top of the potatoes.
  8. Return the packet to the grill for an additional 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.
  9. Remove the packet and garnish with green onions before serving.
