  • 2 slices white American cheese or cheddar, pepper jack for a kick
  • 6 slices cooked bacon
  • 1 whole tomato sliced
  • 3/4 cup shredded lettuce romaine or iceberg are excellent choices
Optional Additions
  • 1 whole avocado slices
  • 1 tbsp mustard

Step-by-Step Instructions for Classic Club Sandwich
  1. Begin by toasting six slices of good-quality sandwich bread until golden brown, around 3-4 minutes. Set aside on a wire rack.
  2. Spread a generous layer of mayo or spicy mayo on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
  3. On the first slice of bread, add 2 ounces of turkey breast evenly, followed by slices of tomato and a slice of cheese.
  4. Place the second slice of bread on top of the first layer, mayo side down. Spread more mayo on top.
  5. Layer with 2 ounces of ham, three slices of bacon, and a handful of shredded lettuce. Press down slightly.
  6. Cap with the third slice of bread, mayo side down, and press down gently to compact the layers.
  7. Secure with toothpicks and slice into four sections for serving.
