Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x5 inch loaf pan by greasing it with butter or lining with parchment paper.
  2. Combine 1 ½ cups of mashed ripe bananas with ⅓ cup of melted butter in a large mixing bowl and blend until smooth.
  3. Stir in ¾ cup of granulated sugar, 1 egg, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until fully combined.
  4. Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of baking soda and a pinch of salt, then fold in 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour until just combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat together 4 oz of softened cream cheese, ¼ cup of granulated sugar, 1 egg, and 1 tablespoon of flour until smooth.
  6. Blend ⅓ cup of packed brown sugar with 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
  7. Pour half of the banana batter into the prepared loaf pan, followed by half of the cream cheese mixture and gently swirl.
  8. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture over the cream cheese layer, then repeat with the remaining batter and mixtures.
