  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
For Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper adjust to taste
To Serve
  • 6 buns Sandwich Buns can use gluten-free buns or serve over leafy greens

Preparation Steps
  1. Pat the chuck roast dry with paper towels and sear in a skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  2. In a slow cooker, combine honey, bourbon, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  3. Place the seared beef into the slow cooker, ensuring it’s well-coated with the sauce.
  4. Cover and cook on low heat for 8 hours until the beef is tender and easily shredded.
  5. Remove beef, shred it with two forks, and stir back into the sauce.
  6. Toast sandwich buns and pile the pulled beef onto each bun, adding toppings like coleslaw or pickles if desired.
