- Pat the chuck roast dry with paper towels and sear in a skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.

- Place the seared beef into the slow cooker, ensuring it’s well-coated with the sauce.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 8 hours until the beef is tender and easily shredded.
- Remove beef, shred it with two forks, and stir back into the sauce.
- Toast sandwich buns and pile the pulled beef onto each bun, adding toppings like coleslaw or pickles if desired.
