Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8 or 9-inch baking pan with butter or non-stick spray and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the wet ingredients: egg, vanilla extract, milk, and vegetable oil into the dry mix. Mix with an electric mixer until smooth, then gently stir in hot coffee.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for approximately 25 minutes. Allow cooling for about 10 minutes.
- In a skillet, melt butter and toast kataifi until golden. Combine with pistachio cream for the filling.
- Chop high-quality chocolate and heat table cream until it simmers. Pour over the chocolate and whisk until smooth to make ganache.
- Remove the cooled cake from the pan, slice in half, spread the filling on the bottom layer, and drizzle ganache over the top.
- Chill for about 30 minutes for best results before serving.

Notes
Assemble filling and ganache just before serving to maintain textures. Chilling enhances flavors and makes slicing easier.
