Cooking Steps
  1. Bring the prime rib roast to room temperature for 1 to 2 hours.

  4. Reduce the oven temperature to 250°F (120°C) and slow roast for 2 to 3 hours, checking doneness with a thermometer.
  5. Tent the roast with foil and let it rest for 20 to 30 minutes.
  6. Prepare the sauce using the drippings, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and red wine on the stovetop.
