  • 1 cup Mayonnaise Can substitute Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves Additional Minced Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice

  • 1 cup Mushrooms Or Firm Tofu

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, cinnamon, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth. Set aside for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Place the chicken strips into the marinade and toss well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or marinate overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat a grill or heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil if using a skillet to prevent sticking.
  4. Add the marinated chicken strips to the hot skillet or grill. Sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While chicken cooks, whisk together mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a separate bowl for the garlic sauce.
  6. Once cooked, let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes, then slice and serve with garlic sauce and fresh veggies in pita bread.
