  5. Pour about two-thirds of the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. In a clean bowl, combine 4 ounces of softened cream cheese, another egg, ¼ cup granulated sugar, and 3 tablespoons flour. Whisk until smooth.
  7. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the batter in the pan.
