Preparation Steps
- Pat the chicken leg quarters dry with paper towels and make deep cuts into the meat to maximize flavor absorption.
- Mix salt, minced ginger, garlic, lemon juice, and smoked paprika in a bowl and rub over the chicken. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
- Combine plain yogurt with remaining spices and coat the chicken thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours or overnight.
- Remove the marinated chicken from the refrigerator and let it stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
