  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil for binding and moisture during cooking

Preparation Steps
  1. Pat the chicken leg quarters dry with paper towels and make deep cuts into the meat to maximize flavor absorption.
  2. Mix salt, minced ginger, garlic, lemon juice, and smoked paprika in a bowl and rub over the chicken. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Combine plain yogurt with remaining spices and coat the chicken thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours or overnight.
  4. Remove the marinated chicken from the refrigerator and let it stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  5. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer; cook for 13-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Increase the air fryer temperature to 190°C (375°F) and cook for an additional 8-10 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving with chutney and naan.
