Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush pretzels in a resealable bag until fine crumbs.
- In a large bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar, mixing until coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and press it firmly into an even layer. Bake for about 10 minutes.
- Beat the room temperature cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Fold in the whipped topping.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
- Prepare the strawberry gelatin according to package instructions and let it cool.
- Fold in the sliced strawberries into the cooled gelatin and pour it over the cream cheese layer.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until the gelatin is set.
