Method

Step-by-Step Instructions for One Pot Beefaroni
  1. In a large pot over medium heat, add a pound of ground beef along with a diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until beef is browned and onions are translucent, about 5–7 minutes.
  2. Pour in a generous can of tomato sauce and 2 cups of beef broth (or water), sprinkle in Italian seasoning, and stir to combine. Allow to simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  3. Add elbow macaroni, ensuring it's mostly submerged in the sauce. Stir gently and bring to a gentle boil over medium-high heat.
  4. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and cover the pot. Let simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until tender.
  5. Stir in your choice of shredded cheese and allow to melt for 2–3 minutes, blending into the sauce.
  6. Spoon into bowls and garnish with fresh herbs and grated Parmesan. Serve immediately.
