Step-by-Step Instructions for One Pot Beefaroni
- In a large pot over medium heat, add a pound of ground beef along with a diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until beef is browned and onions are translucent, about 5–7 minutes.
- Pour in a generous can of tomato sauce and 2 cups of beef broth (or water), sprinkle in Italian seasoning, and stir to combine. Allow to simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Add elbow macaroni, ensuring it's mostly submerged in the sauce. Stir gently and bring to a gentle boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, reduce heat to low and cover the pot. Let simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until tender.
- Stir in your choice of shredded cheese and allow to melt for 2–3 minutes, blending into the sauce.
- Spoon into bowls and garnish with fresh herbs and grated Parmesan. Serve immediately.
