Ingredients

For the Ravioli
  • 12 oz Cheese Ravioli Use fresh or frozen; adjust cooking time if frozen.
For the Steak
  • 1 lb Sirloin Steak (cubed) Juicy sirloin adds flavor; substitute with ribeye for richer taste.
For the Sauce
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter Adds silkiness; use 2 tbsp butter and half-and-half for lighter.
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Extra virgin recommended for best flavor.
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic Fresh is better than garlic powder.
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream Use half-and-half for a lighter option.
  • ¼ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated enhances flavor.
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes Optional; adjust spice level as desired.
For Garnish
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Fresh Parsley Can substitute with chives or basil.

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Skillet
  • Colander

Method

Cooking Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the cheese ravioli and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender. Drain and toss with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Season the cubed sirloin steak with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tbsp of butter and 1 tbsp of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak cubes and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium, melt the remaining butter, and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, simmering for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  4. Return the cooked ravioli and seared steak to the skillet, gently tossing to coat in the sauce. Heat for another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
