Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and slice the cabbage into thick, sturdy rounds and lay them on a roasting tray. Brush lightly with olive oil and roast for about 20 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add ground beef to the skillet with onions and garlic. Season with smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, cooking for 6-8 minutes.
  5. Stir in marinara sauce into the cooked beef, simmer on low for 5 minutes.
  6. Spoon the beef mixture onto each roasted cabbage piece and top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
