  1. Blend Tahini and Lemon Juice: Start by adding the tahini and fresh lemon juice to your food processor. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until creamy.
  2. Incorporate Flavoring Ingredients: Add garlic, cumin, and salt. Blend for another 30-45 seconds, stopping to scrape down sides.
  3. Crush in the Chickpeas: Add canned chickpeas, drizzle in olive oil, and blend for 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  4. Adjust Consistency: Gradually add more cold water, blending until the hummus is creamy and easily spreadable.
  5. Prepare for Serving: Transfer hummus to a dish, swirl on top, drizzle olive oil, and sprinkle with sumac or paprika.
