For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Melted Butter Coconut oil can be used for a dairy-free version.
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Oil Adjust to taste for spice preference.
  • 2 tablespoons White Miso Yellow miso works too.
  • 2 stalks Spring Onions Can substitute with chives or green garlic.
For Optional Protein
  • 1 unit Egg Skip for a vegan option or substitute with tofu.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Boil a large pot of water, add ramen noodles, and cook according to the package instructions, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Melt butter in a small bowl, then stir in white miso, chili oil, and spring onions until creamy.
  3. In a skillet, heat chili oil and fry the egg for 2-3 minutes until the white is set and yolk is runny.
  4. Drain the cooked noodles, reserving half a cup of noodle water for sauce consistency.
  5. Combine the drained noodles with the miso sauce, adding reserved noodle water for desired texture.
  6. Serve noodles topped with fried egg, extra chili oil, and a sprinkle of spring onions.
