Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 0.25 cups olive oil can substitute with avocado oil
  • 0.25 cups soy sauce replace with coconut aminos for gluten-free
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup, use maple syrup for vegan
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar, substitute with lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce reduce for milder flavor
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder can substitute with 1 clove of minced garlic
For the Kabobs
  • 1.5 pounds thick-cut steaks NY strips, ribeye, or sirloin
  • 1 medium red onion yellow or white onion can be used
  • 2 cups bell peppers any color, or zucchini/cherry tomatoes
  • 8 ounces mushrooms button or cremini, can replace with eggplant
  • 1 cup Brussels sprouts or large chunks of asparagus

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Soak skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, hot sauce, and garlic powder.
  3. Cut steak into 1 ½ inch cubes and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Prepare vegetables, cutting them into large chunks.
  5. Thread marinated beef and vegetables onto skewers.
  6. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  7. Grill skewers for about 5 minutes on each side.
  8. Let kabobs rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.
