Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 7–10 minutes, then drain excess fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked beef, hash browns, soup, milk, onion, and half of the cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Stir well.
  4. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Pour the beef mixture and spread evenly in the dish.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the casserole evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 45 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
