Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine garlic powder, salt, ground pepper, sage, ground thyme, and brown sugar. Whisk until evenly blended.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the ground pork and sprinkle the seasoning mix over it. Knead until spices are evenly distributed.
  3. Divide the meat mixture into 12 portions and shape each into a round patty with a slight indentation in the center.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil, and cook the patties for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  5. Transfer cooked patties to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess grease.
  6. If not consumed immediately, let cool before storing in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
