Cooking Steps
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet; sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Mix in soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Stir well and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes until sauce thickens.
  4. If using, add broccoli florets and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes until tender.
  5. Meanwhile, cook rice according to package instructions. Fluff rice before serving.
  6. Layer rice in bowls, spoon beef mixture over the top, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
