  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt Essential seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Essential seasoning

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. Cut each French baguette roll about 75% of the way through to create a pocket.
  3. In a small bowl, combine melted unsalted butter with minced garlic and brush the inside of each baguette with this mixture.
  4. Place the prepared baguettes on the baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
  5. In a pot, bring beef broth to a gentle boil and season with oregano, chili flakes, and other seasonings. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Dunk thinly sliced roast beef into the hot broth for 10-15 seconds to warm through.
  7. Layer warm roast beef and mozzarella inside the toasted baguettes.
  8. Return sandwiches to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted.
  9. Top with Chicago giardiniera if desired, close the sandwiches, and serve immediately.
