  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch

  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Pepper
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley Chopped

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Lightly grease the inner pot of your slow cooker with nonstick spray. Set to low.
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper. Place at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Sprinkle minced garlic over the chicken and layer with sliced mushrooms.
  4. Pour the sweet Marsala cooking wine over the chicken and vegetables.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours until chicken is tender.
  6. Remove chicken and whisk together water and cornstarch, then stir into the sauce.
  7. Return chicken to the slow cooker, switch to high, and cook for an additional 20 to 30 minutes.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
