  • 16 ounces Cleaned Whole Mushrooms White button or baby portobello recommended.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Can substitute with melted butter for richer flavor.
For the Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Fine Sea Salt Kosher salt is a great substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Adjust to preferred spice level.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your pellet grill to 180°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the cleaned whole mushrooms and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle onion powder, fine sea salt, and black pepper over the oiled mushrooms and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Carefully place the seasoned mushrooms directly onto the smoker grates or in a grilling pan.
  5. Smoke the mushrooms for 30 minutes, checking occasionally.
  6. Increase the smoker temperature to 475°F and allow time to stabilize.
  7. Once stabilized, remove mushrooms and serve warm.
