  • 4 bags Black Tea regular or herbal
  • 4 cups Boiling Water
For the Peach Mixture
  • 4 medium Fresh Ripe Peaches or frozen peaches
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice fresh or bottled
For Sweetening
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar or honey/sugar alternative
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda optional
For Serving
  • 2 cups Cold Water
  • as needed Ice for serving

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Halve and pit two ripe peaches, slice them into wedges, and freeze for at least 4 hours.
  2. Boil 4 cups of water, add 4 black tea bags, cover, and steep for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags and stir in granulated sugar until dissolved.
  3. Blend two fresh peaches with a splash of lemon juice until smooth to create a peach puree.
  4. Strain the peach mixture through a fine sieve, pressing to extract juice and discard pulp.
  5. In a pitcher, combine strained peach juice, cooled tea, and 2 cups of cold water. Add baking soda if desired, mix well and refrigerate.
  6. Serve over ice in glasses, adding frozen peach wedges for extra flavor.
